Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and target-driven Liability Generation Officer responsible for sourcing, mobilising, and retaining retail and wholesale deposits. The role carries a monthly mobilisation target of ₦10 million, with performance measured by consistency, conversion rate, and quality of client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Liability Generation: Mobilise retail and wholesale funds through deposit products and investment notes, achieving a minimum of ₦10 million in monthly deposits.

Identify, prospect, and convert potential clients through field visits, cold calls, networking, referrals, and market activations.

Present product options, investment benefits, and interest structures clearly to prospective depositors.

Maintain an active pipeline and ensure progress toward daily, weekly, and monthly mobilisation targets.

Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML, and data-protection policies during client onboarding.

Record all sales activities and client interactions using CRM and digital reporting tools.

Build and sustain long-term relationships to encourage renewals, rollovers, and increased investment volumes.

Provide management with insights on customer behaviour, competitor pricing, and market trends.

Requirements

HND or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

1–3 years' experience in liability generation, deposit mobilisation, fundraising, or investment sales.

Proven ability to meet or exceed financial mobilisation targets (bonus for candidates who have achieved ₦10m+ monthly).

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated, persuasive, and able to work independently in a field-based role.

Proficiency in mobile apps, CRM tools, and digital reporting platforms.
