Role Purpose

The Financial Controller provides strategic financial leadership for the organization and its subsidiaries. The role safeguards financial stability, enforces accountability, and ensures that creative innovation is matched by fiscal discipline and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead group-level financial strategy, forecasting, and budget management.
  • Consolidate financial reporting across all brands, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance frameworks.
  • Manage audits, tax filings, and regulatory obligations with external consultants.
  • Oversee cost management, pricing analysis, and project profitability tracking.
  • Implement efficient cashflow management and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Advise leadership on investments, capital expenditure, and risk mitigation.
  • Supervise finance teams and promote strong ethics, precision, and accountability.
  • Drive digital finance transformation, including ERP or accounting automation systems.
  • Provide quarterly strategic insights and scenario modeling for leadership decisions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly and quarterly).
  • Reduction in operational and overhead costs.
  • Successful audit outcomes and compliance record.
  • Budget accuracy and variance control.
  • Cashflow optimization and working capital efficiency.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; ICAN/ACCA required.
  • 8–10 years' progressive experience in financial management, ideally within a multi-brand or creative group.
  • Proven record in financial system implementation and consolidation reporting.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ERP proficiency preferred.
