  • Apple and Pears Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services required for smooth business operations.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement, maintain strong supplier relationships, and support timely availability of materials. Candidates must reside in Sagamu or nearby areas, as proximity to the job location is essential.

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Source, negotiate, and purchase goods and services in line with company policies
  • Identify reliable suppliers and maintain effective vendor relationships
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper documentation
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues
  • Track orders, deliveries, and ensure timely supply of materials
  • Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and standards
  • Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an OND / HND /BSc Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing
  • Experience working with vendors and managing purchase processes is required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must reside in Sagamu or surrounding areas (proximity is very important)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Good analytical and organizational abilities
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, procurement systems)
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Salary

N100,000 monthly.
