Job Title: Nursery Teacher

Reports to: Head of Department/Principal

Job Summary:

We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and caring for children aged 2-5. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for early childhood education, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to create a warm and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons to nursery students.

2. Develop and implement engaging and interactive activities to promote learning and development.

3. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.

4. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

5. Monitor and report on student progress and development.

6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement nursery programs.

7. Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

2. Valid teaching certification in Early Childhood Education.

3. Experience working with young children.

4. Excellent knowledge of child development theories and practices.

5. Strong teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Working Conditions:

1. Work Environment: The nursery teacher will work in a classroom environment with young children, colleagues, and parents.

2. Physical Demands: The nursery teacher may be required to lift children, move around the classroom, and engage in physical activities with students.

3. Work Schedule: The nursery teacher will work a standard school schedule, with some evenings and weekends required for meetings, events, and planning.
