About the Role:

Aptic Shelters is seeking a highly skilled Project Architect with a strong background in design development, project coordination, and architectural administration. The ideal candidate is both creative and detail-oriented, capable of transforming concepts into buildable realities while ensuring smooth communication and workflow across all project phases.

This role bridges design and management, requiring a professional who can lead architectural design efforts while also handling documentation, scheduling, and team coordination to deliver exceptional residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

Key Responsibilities:

l Lead and manage design processes, from concept and schematic design to construction documentation and completion.

l Prepare detailed architectural drawings, models, and technical specifications using industry-standard tools.

l Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure design integrity, compliance, and constructability.

l Manage client communications, ensuring clarity on deliverables, revisions, and project goals.

l Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, maintaining alignment with company objectives.

l Conduct periodic site visits to review progress and ensure adherence to design intent and standards.

l Support administrative functions such as project documentation, approvals, and reporting.

l Contribute to internal process improvement, design reviews, and quality control procedures.

l Stay current with design trends, sustainable building practices, and evolving architectural technologies.

Qualifications:

l Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.

l Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in architectural design and project management.

l Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and related design and visualization tools.

l Strong understanding of building codes, construction detailing, and specification writing.

l Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.

l Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

l Creative thinker with technical precision and a strong sense of design.

l Membership or registration with ARCON (or in process) is an added advantage.
