Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and the ability to engage, inspire, and support students in understanding complex mathematical concepts. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will create an inclusive and positive learning environment that fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills, while ensuring each student receives the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must have reliable internet connection and access to power alternatives for uninterrupted lessons.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons for students.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess students' progress regularly through tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and performance.
  • Maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement educational programs and activities.
  • Communicate regularly with students or parents regarding student progress, behavior, and any areas for improvement.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and staff development sessions as required.
  • Stay up to date with the latest teaching methods and curriculum changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Teaching certification or equivalent credential in mathematics is a plus.
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics.
  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to explain them clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with digital teaching tools and educational software.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for students with varying levels of ability.
  • Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of current educational trends and research.
