BOG (Build On The Go) is an innovative online marketplace helping individuals in Nigeria and diaspora achieve their dream of owning world-class structures. Our live platform connects users with expert workers, quality building materials, and real-time project tracking all in one place.

We are currently expanding our platform to include a Smart Cost Calculator that will give users instant, accurate construction cost estimates, making building projects more predictable and stress-free.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a visionary Product Manager to lead the ongoing development of our live platform and oversee the design and launch of new high-impact features most notably our upcoming Smart Cost Calculator. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a deep understanding of customer needs in the African construction market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap, with a focus on delivering the Smart Cost Calculator and enhancing existing marketplace features.
  • Align product development with BOG's mission to simplify and digitize the construction process.
  • Product Development
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to bring new features from concept to launch.
  • Ensure smooth integration of upcoming tools with current live features (worker marketplace, material shopping, project tracking).
  • Customer Experience
  • Gather and analyze user feedback to improve platform usability and adoption.
  • Test and refine the Smart Cost Calculator to ensure accuracy and reliability before public launch.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer care to ensure seamless user onboarding and retention.
  • Coordinate with construction experts to validate data and enhance product credibility.
  • Performance & Optimization
  • Track KPIs to measure feature success and platform growth.
  • Recommend improvements based on usage data, industry trends, and competitive research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in product management, preferably in tech, marketplaces, or SaaS platforms.
  • Proven experience taking a product from concept to launch.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with agile development and UX/UI principles.
  • Understanding of construction or real estate markets is an advantage.
