Main responsibilities include developing GDD, developing design and gaming protocols, defining gameplay mechanics, recruiting and managing the team, working to quality, time and budget. A successful candidate should have exceptional coding skills, no problems with working long hours under pressure, a yearning for making games that are original and groundbreaking, and a love for the process. Ideal candidates will have experience in game design, knowledge of computer systems and languages and excellent collaboration skills. We are a startup in the games industry in Africa with a vision to utliize "play" as a force for youth development and empowerment in Africa. Or Equivalent experience in mobile game development projects using Unity3D or UE4. Gameplay and level design experience. Enthusiasm and knowledge of the industry. Relevant certification in programming languages. Portfolio of sample projects.
