Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lekki. As a Junior Information Technology Officer, you will provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and address hardware and software needs. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, implementing system updates, managing network systems, and ensuring cybersecurity best practices. Additionally, you will assist with user support, including training employees on IT tools and systems.

Qualifications

  • Technical skills in IT infrastructure management, troubleshooting, and network systems
  • Knowledge of hardware, software, and various operating systems
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and data protection practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to provide technical training
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or equivalent are an advantage

Requirement

  • OND/HND/BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, i.e., both verbal and written.
  • 2-3 years' experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, N+, or Microsoft Fundamentals are an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, process improvement, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative mind, ability to work under pressure, and to multitask.
  • Exceptionally hard-working and flexible.
  • Must have the mandatory NYSC certificate.
