Role Overview

The Business & Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving account growth, and ensuring business objectives are met through strategic customer engagement. This person will serve as the bridge between clients and internal teams — ensuring seamless communication, client satisfaction, and consistent revenue expansion.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Growth

  • Manage and nurture key client relationships to ensure long-term success.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Yournotify products (Email, SMS, Leads, Rewards, Referrals, etc.).
  • Develop account plans, track KPIs, and forecast renewals or expansions.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and deliver strategic recommendations to clients.

Client Onboarding & Success

  • Oversee smooth onboarding of new business accounts.
  • Collaborate with support, product, and marketing teams to ensure customers adopt and succeed with Yournotify tools.
  • Track and resolve client issues promptly, maintaining strong satisfaction and retention metrics.

Business Development

  • Source and close new business opportunities within assigned verticals (fintech, retail, education, etc.).
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects using CRM and outbound strategies.
  • Prepare and present proposals, demos, and pricing to potential enterprise clients.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to relay client feedback for feature improvements.
  • Collaborate with marketing for co-branded campaigns or case studies that amplify client success stories.
  • Support management in designing pricing models, partnership offers, and channel strategies.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication — written and verbal.
  • Solid understanding of SaaS, MarTech, or communication platforms.
  • Proficiency in using CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, or Pipedrive).
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making mindset.
  • Ability to handle multiple high-value clients simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3–6 years' experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Client Success.
  • Experience in a B2B tech, SaaS, or telecom environment is a plus.
  • Proven track record of achieving growth targets and managing enterprise relationships.

Performance Metrics

  • Account retention rate and renewal value.
  • Net revenue growth per account.
  • Number of upsell/cross-sell conversions.
  • Client satisfaction (NPS/CSAT).
  • Timely delivery of account reports and QBRs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦250,000.00 per month
