The Procurement & Inventory Officer is responsible for sourcing goods and services, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that all purchases and stock movements are properly authorized, recorded, and controlled.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manages purchasing activities, vendor coordination, stock control, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Ensures that all procurement follows approved processes and that inventory records are accurate and up to date.
  • Works closely with operations, finance, and management to support smooth service delivery and cost control.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Professional certifications in procurement, logistics, or inventory management are an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 3– 5 years' experience in procurement, inventory, or supply chain roles is required, preferably within hospitality, retail, manufacturing, or service-based organizations.
  • Experience handling vendors, stock records, and internal controls is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
  • Integrity and accountability
  • Knowledge of procurement and inventory processes
  • Good negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Strong coordination and communication abilities
