Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Store Officer who will be responsible for managing the company's warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock control, timely dispatch, and compliance with corporate standards. This role requires a proactive professional who can balance operational efficiency with strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

Inbound Operations

o Supervise receiving of goods, verifying quality, quantity, and documentation.

o Ensure timely updating of stock records upon receipt.

o Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.

Outbound Operations

o Oversee order picking, packing, and dispatch to customers or internal departments.

o Ensure timely delivery schedules are met without compromising accuracy.

o Liaise with logistics partners for smooth transportation.

Inventory & Stock Management

o Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts; reconcile variances promptly.

o Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.

o Implement FIFO/FEFO (First-In-First-Out / First-Expiry-First-Out) principles for perishable or time-sensitive goods.

o Monitor stock aging and recommend disposal or clearance strategies.

Systems & Reporting

o Update ERP/WMS (Warehouse Management System) with real-time stock movements.

o Generate and submit periodic reports on stock balances, inbound/outbound activities, and warehouse KPIs.

o Track and report inventory accuracy rate, order fulfillment rate, and stock turnover ratio.

Compliance & Safety

o Enforce warehouse safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.

o Conduct routine audits to ensure adherence to SOPs.

o Train and supervise warehouse staff on best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4–7 years' experience in warehousing, inventory, or store management (preferably in a conglomerate or large-scale organization).
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (SAP, SAGE, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to manage inbound/outbound logistics and inventory reconciliation.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and reporting abilities.
  • Certification in supply chain/logistics (e.g., APICS, CIPS) is an added advantage.
