Role Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Instructor for a full-time, on-site role located in Lagos. The instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging training sessions on various cybersecurity topics. Day-to-day tasks will include creating course materials, conducting hands-on labs, mentoring students, evaluating performance, and staying updated on the latest trends in cybersecurity to ensure course content remains relevant and up-to-date. Collaboration with the training team to meet the diverse learning needs of students will also be an essential part of this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Information Security principles and practices
  • Strong expertise in Application Security and Network Security
  • Experience in Malware Analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Prior teaching or training experience is an advantage
  • Ability to design and implement hands-on cybersecurity labs and training exercises
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred
