Job Summary:

The Early Years Teacher will provide a nurturing, stimulating, and safe learning environment where children aged 2–5 can develop socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or relevant early years curriculum to ensure holistic child development and school readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Learning

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate lessons that promote curiosity, exploration, and discovery.

Use play-based and inquiry-led approaches to facilitate learning across the seven areas of the Early Years curriculum.

Develop daily, weekly, and termly lesson plans aligned with the school's scheme of work and learning objectives.

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.

Observe, assess, and record each child's progress and provide regular feedback to parents and leadership.

Classroom Management & Environment

Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages independence and creativity.

Organize and maintain learning areas, resources, and displays that reflect children's work and learning themes.

Ensure classroom routines support structure, safety, and emotional security.

Promote positive behavior through praise, encouragement, and consistent boundaries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₦150,000.00 per month
