Store Keeper

Position Summary

We are looking for a store keeper to join our team at Homgrove. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing our facility's inventory, with particular emphasis on supplies for the in-house kitchen. The store keeper will play a vital role in ensuring accurate stock management, maintains proper documentation, and supports smooth kitchen and facility operations through timely procurement, storage, and distribution of materials.

Primary Responsibilities

Your job role as a Store Keeper will be primary to:

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming supplies, ensuring quantity and quality standards are met.
• Keep accurate inventory records using approved systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and report variances promptly.
• Ensure all materials are properly labeled, tracked, and stored under appropriate conditions.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to understand daily and weekly supply needs.
• Issue raw materials, ingredients, and consumables to kitchen staff based on approved requisitions.
• Notify management of low-stock items and assist in preparing purchase requests.
• Maintain documentation for purchases, receipts, and supplier interactions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Store Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in inventory or storekeeping, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of stock control processes and food storage practices.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to use inventory management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
