A creative consultancy company in Lagos that provides innovative solutions for modern businesses is seeking a Senior Creative Strategist to join their team. This role offers a hybrid job structure.

The ideal candidate for this role is an analytical thinker with a creative mind, a strong understanding of cultural trends, and the ability to manage projects from ideation to delivery while maintaining exceptional client relationships. The Senior Creative Strategist will serve as the bridge between strategic thinking and creative execution.

This role goes beyond account management; the senior creative strategist will conceptualize, develop, and lead innovative campaigns that align with client objectives, inspire audiences, and drive measurable results. The Senior Creative Strategist will combine their strategic acumen with a strong creative vision to craft brand stories, develop content approaches, and ensure seamless execution across all touch points.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Strategy & Brand Development

  • Develop integrated creative strategies and campaign concepts that reflect both the client's goals and emerging market trends.
  • Conduct in-depth brand, audience, and market analysis to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Translate strategic insights into clear creative briefs for internal teams.
  • Ensure brand messaging is consistent and innovative across all platforms.

Campaign Ideation & Execution

  • Lead the creative ideation process, inspiring teams to push boundaries while remaining on brand.
  • Oversee the production of creative deliverables including copy, design, video, and experiential activations.
  • Ensure all creative outputs meet high-quality standards and deliver measurable impact.

Client Partnership & Consultation

  • Serve as the primary strategic partner for assigned clients, offering proactive solutions and insights.
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations to align stakeholders on creative direction.
  • Build long-lasting, trust-based relationships with clients through consistent delivery and innovation.

Project & Resource Management

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, development, and execution of campaigns.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Identify and resolve potential risks or roadblocks early in the process.

Data-Driven Analysis & Reporting

  • Track and measure campaign performance against KPIs.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for future strategies.
  • Stay ahead of industry shifts and emerging creative technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Mentorship & Team Development

  • Mentor and guide junior strategists, account managers, and creatives to elevate the team's capabilities.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages experimentation and creative problem-solving.
