Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abuja for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive brand growth, lead generation, and customer engagement across multiple online platforms. This role oversees the digital marketing team, manages campaigns across SEO, SEM, social media, email, content, and digital advertising, and ensures alignment between marketing initiatives and business goals. The ideal candidate combines creativity, data-driven decision-making, and leadership to deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the organization's overall digital marketing strategy to achieve brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue objectives.
• Manage and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, communications, and IT) to ensure marketing efforts support company goals.
• Plan, execute, and optimize integrated digital campaigns across search engines, social media, display networks, and email platforms.
• Manage paid advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) and organic digital initiatives to maximize ROI.
• Monitor and adjust campaigns in real-time to meet KPIs and improve conversion rates.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality, engaging content across digital channels (websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, etc.).
• Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Lead content marketing strategies that attract and nurture leads through the customer journey.
• Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics for all digital campaigns.
• Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, etc.) to identify insights and drive decision-making.
• Present performance reports and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Oversee SEO and website optimization strategies to increase organic traffic and improve user experience.
• Collaborate with web developers to enhance site performance, accessibility, and conversion rates.
• Direct the development and execution of social media strategies that enhance engagement and brand advocacy.
• Monitor trends, manage online reputation, and oversee community interactions across platforms.
• Develop and manage the digital marketing budget.
• Allocate spending efficiently across channels to maximize ROI.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or digital marketing certifications such as Google Ads, HubSpot, or Meta Blueprint preferred).
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role.
• Proven success in managing large-scale digital campaigns and teams.
• Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, analytics, content strategy, and social media management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in digital tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot, Mailchimp, SEMrush, and WordPress.
