Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lekki Lagos for an experienced Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, coordinating audits, preparing budgets, and collaborating with management to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Planning, and Data Interpretation.
  • Experience with General Ledger Management and Account Reconciliation processes.
  • Technical skills in Accounting Software like QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required to oversee financial processes.
  • Ability to interpret financial regulations and ensure compliance with relevant standards and practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or ICAN are a strong advantage.
  • Prior experience in the retail or fashion industry is a plus.
