Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Assistant to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This is a full-time on-site position.

The Logistics Assistant will support day-to-day logistics operations, including coordinating the movement of goods and materials, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring timely deliveries. The role also involves assisting with procurement activities, stock counting, stock keeping, and providing driving support to the Sales Team, Sales Strategy Manager, and CEO when required.

You will report to the Supply Chain & Business Support Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate transportation and logistics for goods and materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory and stock records
  • Support timely delivery to customers and partners
  • Assist with purchasing and vendor interactions
  • Conduct regular stock counts and maintain organized storage systems
  • Provide driving support for company personnel as required
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
  • Support general administrative and logistics-related tasks

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in logistics management and inventory control
  • Experience in customer service and purchasing is an advantage
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work outside standard office hours when necessary
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic knowledge of logistics software and MS Office
  • Familiarity with Lagos routes and transportation networks is an added advantage
  • Educational background in supply chain, logistics, or related fields is preferred
