JOB TITLE : Gurukul Faculty Head

JOB LOCATION : Lagos Nigeria

REPORTING TO : Digitalization Head (HOD)

BUSINESS UNIT: Center of Excellence

DEPARTMENT : Digitalization

SUB VERTICAL : Gurukul - Digitalization

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

1. Academic Leadership

2. Design, review, and update course curricula in line with industry trends and emerging technologies.

3. Set teaching standards, methodologies, and assessment practices.

4. Ensure effective implementation of academic calendars, timetables, and examinations.

5. Faculty Management

6. Recruit, train, and mentor instructors and technical trainers.

7. Quality & Compliance

8. Monitor teaching quality through classroom audits and student feedback.

9. Maintain academic records, reports, and compliance documentation.

10. Student Engagement & Support

11. Oversee student learning progress and resolve academic issues.

12. Support student career readiness by aligning curriculum with industry demands.

13. Encourage innovation, coding competitions, and project-based learning.

14. Industry Collaboration

15. Build relationships with IT companies and industry professionals for guest lectures, internships, and placements.

16. Strategic Contribution

17. Contribute to institutional growth through new course development and partnerships.

18. Support marketing and outreach activities by representing the academic wing in events and seminars.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

• Strong interpersonal skills and patience for teaching.
• Experience in EdTech, academic accreditation, or curriculum design
• Communication Skills, Presentation Skills.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in one or more key domains (e.g., Full Stack Development, Data Science, Cloud Computing, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, etc.).

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelors or masters in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 12 years in software training, education management, or IT project leadership, with at least 5 years in a supervisory / academic leadership role.
