Role Description

This is a remote volunteer opportunity for a software developer.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and back-end systems that power Anxoda's digital and AI-driven solutions.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of developers, designers, and strategists to create digital products that help businesses improve productivity, automate operations, and make smarter decisions through data.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications and APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions.
  • Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
  • Participate in code reviews and version control (Git/GitHub).
  • Support AI and data-driven integrations where applicable.
  • Troubleshoot and debug existing systems for performance optimization.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development.
  • Strong understanding of programming and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
  • Background in computer science or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially in remote teams.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver on schedule.
  • Experience with AI integration or data strategy is an added advantage.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in software development (professional or project-based).
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience in React and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Python and data analysis is a plus (not required).
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows.
