Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Software Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include programming, implementing back-end web development solutions, and collaborating with the team to create innovative software. You will also engage in problem-solving and writing well-structured, maintainable code following object-oriented programming concepts.

NOTE: THIS IS A VOLUNTEER-BASED ROLE, COMPENSATION PACKAGES ARE AVAILABLE ON COMPLETION OF PAID JOBS.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts
  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
  • Experience with Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a distributed team in a remote environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience with non-profit organizations or educational initiatives is a plus
