Medical Laboratory Scientist

You will join a team dedicated to providing reliable laboratory services that support timely and accurate diagnosis. This role is central to ensuring efficient specimen handling, processing, and analysis while maintaining uncompromised standards of quality and patient care.
What to expect:
1. Perform a wide range of laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, parasitology, and microbiology as required.
2. Analyze specimens such as blood, urine, stool, tissue, and other body fluids.
3. Ensure strict compliance with laboratory policies, quality assurance procedures, and safety standards.
4. Accurately record, interpret, and document test results; escalate critical findings to clinicians promptly.
Essential education, experience and skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science (BMLS).
2. Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
3. Minimum of
3–5 years post-NYSC experience
in a medical laboratory.
4. Proficiency in at least two core laboratory units (e.g., Haematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Parasitology).
5. Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and quality management systems.
6. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and analytical skills.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
