About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable
Data Science Instructor
to teach and mentor learners in core data science concepts using
Python and R
. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent teaching and communication skills. You will guide students through hands-on projects, real-world case studies, and data-driven problem-solving to help them become industry-ready data professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, workshops, and tutorials on
    Data Science, Statistics, Python, and R programming
    .
  • Develop, update, and maintain course materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Provide one-on-one mentorship and feedback to students on projects and assignments.
  • Teach key topics such as:
  • Data wrangling and cleaning (Pandas, dplyr, etc.)
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and visualization (Matplotlib, ggplot2, Seaborn)
  • Statistical modeling and hypothesis testing
  • Machine learning algorithms (Scikit-learn, caret, etc.)
  • Model evaluation and deployment
  • Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and collaboration.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and tools in the data science ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in
    data analysis, data science, or machine learning
    using
    Python and R
    .
  • Proficiency in key data science libraries:
  • Python:
    NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn
  • R:
    tidyverse, dplyr, ggplot2, caret
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling, data visualization, and machine learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience (preferred but not mandatory).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with cloud tools (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Industry project experience or portfolio showcasing applied data science work.
