Role Overview:
The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for designing and optimizing the entire digital experience of a next-generation cohort-based learning platform , a complete ecosystem where students join cohorts to learn through blended experiences (pre-recorded lessons, live sessions, assignments, and mentorship), while creators (instructors) build, manage, and monetize their own academies.

The designer will transform complex workflows, including student onboarding, creator dashboards, live class interactions, cohort calendars, payments, and analytics, into seamless, intuitive, and engaging interfaces that reflect world-class educational design standards.

This role requires deep understanding of human-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and visual storytelling, with an emphasis on clarity, scalability, and accessibility. The ideal candidate bridges creativity with system thinking, crafting layouts, journeys, and components that empower both learners and creators to thrive inside one cohesive ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
Design dual sign-up flows for students and creators, ensuring both are frictionless yet informative.

Create user journey maps, task flows, information architecture diagrams, and wireframes that define the end-to-end experience, from sign-up to course completion.

Develop scalable and modular design systems that can accommodate multiple user roles (student, instructor, mentor, facilitator, admin).

Structure dashboard hierarchies (student dashboard, creator dashboard, admin dashboard) with clarity and discoverability in mind.

Optimize UX for cohort-based interactions, e.g., project spaces, group discussions, progress tracking, and live class access.

Translate wireframes and flows into polished high-fidelity mockups, UI kits, and interactive prototypes using Figma (or equivalent design tools).

Design responsive interfaces across web and mobile devices using modern frameworks (React + Tailwind compatibility).

Define and maintain a consistent visual language across the entire product, typography, color palette, icons, illustrations, spacing, and grid systems.

Design interactive components for:

*Course and cohort pages

Live session modals

Assignment submission pages

Project and feedback dashboards

Community and chat interfaces

Payment and analytics pages*
Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and work for global users (RTL text, localization-ready, dark/light modes).

Build clickable prototypes for user testing and stakeholder review.

Conduct A/B tests, usability sessions, and heatmap analyses to validate design assumptions.

Iterate on feedback from real users (students, instructors, admins) during pre-launch testing and pilot cohorts.

Translate usability insights into clear recommendations and design improvements.

Document test results and communicate design rationale to engineering and management teams.
