ACCOUNTANTPOWERCHINA HUADONG NIGERIA LIMITEDAccounting, Auditing & FinanceAbuja Full TimeConstruction ConfidentialMinimum Qualification :Experience Level : Senior levelExperience Length : 5 yearsJob Description/RequirementsResponsibilitiesUsing financial reporting systems to create, manage and distribute regular monthly financial reports for the office/function.Develop and maintain analytical models to analyze office/function activities and effectively communicate results to office/function leaders.Prepare, process and analyze transactions for the office/function as appropriate and maintain relevant financial databases and data systems.Respond to colleagues' inquiries on financial policies and tools (e.g., expense reporting tool).Responsible for tax calculations, filings and remissions in accordance with the regulations and policies.Manage budgeting and forecasting.Work directly with finance managers, partners, team leaders and colleagues across several administrative functions within the firmQualificationsMust Reside in AbujaBachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of finance/accounting/tax exerience ideally in Engineering or Construction services.Must possess a professional certification from an Accounting body such as ICAN, ACCA, CNA amongst others.Relevant knowledge of local accounting rules and taxes.Specialized functional knowledge (e.g., finance, accounting, audit, cash management, taxes).Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and internal stakeholders in both verbal and written form and to influence others and must be fluent in English.Independent project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyIndependent project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicalsFluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
