Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer position based in Lagos. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing machinery and equipment, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, and participating in research and development activities. The role also involves overseeing project management tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects meet engineering standards and client requirements. Daily duties include analyzing technical specifications, improving processes, and contributing to innovative engineering solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles, including knowledge of mechanical systems and applications.
  • Experience in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating detailed engineering drawings and models.
  • Strong Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and timeline management.
  • Ability to contribute to Research and Development (R&D) for innovative solutions and process improvements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing or brewing industry is an advantage.
  • 1-3 years experience
