Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cook for one of clients, located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting meals in adherence to the company's menu and standard recipes. Key responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, ensuring proper food storage, monitoring inventory, and coordinating with the procurement team for supplies. The Cook will also follow food safety and hygiene standards, plan menus, and accommodate dietary restrictions as needed, ensuring a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presenting meals
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and hygiene practices
- Time management, team coordination, and organizational skills
- Experience with menu planning and adapting to dietary requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
- Minimum of OND holder or Completion of culinary training or equivalent professional cooking experience
