Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive recent graduate and/or Junior Architect to join our team in a full-time hybrid environment in Lagos as a Project Assistant. This role is central to bridging design and production, ensuring smooth coordination between technical planning, artisanship, and client delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing and interpreting 2D/3D technical drawings to guide production.
  2. Ensuring assigned artisans strictly comply with technical drawings and specifications.
  3. Conducting materials procurement to support ongoing and upcoming production needs.
  4. Assisting in product deliveries and installations to ensure timely and quality execution.

As a Project Assistant will also support our operations in coordinating resources, maintaining documentation, and fostering effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong ability to prepare and interpret 2D/3D technical drawings (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related software).
  • Experience in monitoring artisan compliance with technical specifications.
  • Materials procurement or supply chain knowledge, ideally in the furniture or manufacturing sector.
  • Hands-on experience assisting in deliveries, installations, or on-site project execution.
  • Project coordination skills, including scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in furniture manufacturing or the design industry is an advantage.
