Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will oversee the organization's financial operations, develop and implement financial strategies, manage financial planning and budgeting processes, and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. The role involves preparing financial statements, supervising accounting functions, analyzing financial data to guide decision-making, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The CFO will collaborate with the executive team to drive the financial health and growth of the organization while adhering to the company's mission and long-term objectives.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Financial Planning and Finance, with a proven track record of developing and managing budgets and ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Strong proficiency in Financial Statements preparation and Financial Reporting to facilitate transparency and accountability.
  • Exceptional Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
  • Leadership experience in managing financial teams and collaborating with senior executives.
  • CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in financial management roles, preferably within the financial services or banking sector.
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is highly desirable.
