About the Role

The Full Stack Developer role at the Anchor Digital Group is one in which the incumbent will be expected to support the Software Development Manager and Business Analyst in developing Digital Products and Solutions for the roll out in our many markets. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, maintaining documentations, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.

The Ideal Candidate

An undergraduate educated professional who is a highly skilled computer programmer who is also comfortable with both front and back-end programming. The candidate will be required to be prepared to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Full Stack Developer Job Responsibilities:

As the Full Stack Developer, your core responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Developing front end website architecture.
  • Designing user interactions on web pages.
  • Developing back-end website applications.
  • Creating servers and databases for functionality.
  • Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
  • Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
  • Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
  • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
  • Designing and developing APIs.
  • Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
  • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
  • Maintains historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions.
  • Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor's preferred
  • 3+ years' experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue JS, Angular JS, and React.
  • Proficiency with server-side languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, and .Net.
  • Knowledge of PHP and Python frameworks such as Laravel, Django, and Flask
  • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
  • Knowledge and experience of working tools such as AWS, Jira, BitBucket, Postman, Docker, Confluence
