Our client seeks a dynamic and technically adept
Electrical Sales Engineer/Executive
to be the driving force behind the growth of their outdoor electrical product portfolio. The primary objective is to aggressively grow the business by managing the full sales cycle—from initial client contact and technical quotation to negotiation and project coordination. The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise in Low Voltage (LV) electrical products and exceptional salesmanship, focused on new customer acquisition, up-selling, and ensuring paramount customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet and exceed agreed-upon sales and revenue targets (KPIs) for the assigned electrical product portfolio.
  • Proactively identify, search for, and acquire new clients, dealers, builders, and developers while aggressively developing and nurturing the existing account base.
  • Provide accurate technical expertise, product information, and pricing quotations, successfully matching complex customer electrical requirements to proposed product solutions.
  • Coordinate all stages of the sales project cycle, including order processing, delivery, and post-sale service, ensuring seamless project completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, consulting engineers, partners, and contractors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and driving repeat business.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of current and new electrical products, competitor offerings, and local market trends to advise customers effectively on potential up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales reports, forecast analyses, and customer feedback reports for the Branch Manager to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure personal compliance with all Company Standing Instructions, including Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Electrical Engineering
    or a closely related relevant discipline is mandatory.
  • A minimum of
    3 to 5 years
    of solid, quantifiable experience in
    Technical Sales
    or business development within the electrical industry.
  • Good technical experience and deep knowledge of Electrical Low Voltage (LV) Products is essential.
  • Extensive Knowledge of the local Lagos market
    and an established network with key industry stakeholders (e.g., consulting engineers, contractors, and developers) is highly required.
  • Excellent computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
