Salary: ₦120,000 monthly

Our client, a growing skincare and wellness brand dedicated to empowering individuals with diverse skin needs, is seeking a creative and highly digital-savvy Content and Community Specialist to join their team.

The ideal candidate is deeply familiar with social media culture, understands what makes content go viral, and can translate brand messages into engaging, relatable, and visually compelling stories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content strategies tailored to TikTok, Facebook and Instagram to increase visibility, engagement, and community growth.
  • Create high-quality social media content, including short-form videos, reels, carousels, and stories optimized for each platform's features and trends.
  • Script, record, and edit videos that align with brand goals, storytelling angles, and platform algorithms.
  • Write compelling captions, hooks, and storylines that resonate with the target audience.
  • Record voiceovers for videos when required, ensuring clarity and emotional connection.
  • Monitor trending sounds, formats, and challenges, adapting them creatively to fit the brand's tone and message.
  • Drive sales and lead generation through social media by creating content that convert followers into customers, promoting products/services strategically.
  • Track and analyze content performance, providing insights and recommendations to boost reach, retention, engagement, and sales conversion.
  • Manage audience interactions by responding to comments, questions, and messages promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram algorithms, discoverability features, and content best practices.
  • Proven experience in creating engaging short-form video content (portfolio or samples required).
  • Ability to shoot, edit, and produce videos using mobile editing tools (CapCut, InShot, VN, etc.).
  • Strong storytelling, creative direction, and audience engagement skills.
  • Voiceover abilities are an added advantage.
  • Excellent writing skills for captions, scripts, and micro-storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to trends.
  • Passion for skincare, beauty, wellness, or community-driven brands is a plus.
