Sales Person

The Sales Representative will handle customer interactions, assist with product selection, manage inventory on the shop floor, and ensure a clean and well-organized frozen food display area. The ideal candidate must be customer-friendly, attentive, and able to handle frozen products safely while supporting daily retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Customer Service

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them in selecting frozen food products.
• Provide product information, recommendations, and pricing details.
• Ensure excellent customer service to drive repeat purchases and customer loyalty.
• Handle customer complaints politely and escalate where necessary.

2. Store Operations

• Arrange and restock frozen food items in freezers and display units.
• Ensure proper handling of frozen products to maintain quality and hygiene.
• Monitor product shelf life and ensure expired or damaged items are removed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.

3. Cash Handling

• Process customer payments accurately (cash, POS, transfer).
• Issue receipts and ensure proper record-keeping.
• Maintain cash register accuracy and report discrepancies immediately.

4. Inventory Management

• Assist in stock-taking, counting, and updating inventory records.
• Report low-stock items or fast-moving inventory to the store manager.
• Help in receiving and arranging new stock deliveries.

5. Sales Reporting

• Keep daily records of sales, product movement, and customer feedback.
• Support management in analyzing customer buying patterns.
• Provide input on in-demand items or new product suggestions.

Qualifications & Experience

• SSCE / OND / NCE or equivalent qualification.
• Applicants with close proximity would be considered.
• 1–3 years experience in sales, retail, or supermarket operations (experience in frozen foods is an advantage).
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a POS machine.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle frozen goods safely.
