Role Summary

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily operations within the Blown Film or Flexible Packaging production unit. This role ensures efficient use of resources, adherence to quality standards, compliance with safety protocols, and delivery of production targets. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong technical background in plastics technology and proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate production activities to ensure timely and efficient output in line with production plans.
  • Oversee machine operations (Blown Film or Flexible Packaging lines), ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes to meet product specifications and customer requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, troubleshooting equipment and process problems promptly.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize production flow.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within the plant.
  • Track and report production data, highlighting variances, root causes, and corrective actions.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and control costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Plastics Technology or a related engineering/manufacturing discipline.
  • Minimum of years industrial experience in a similar supervisory role.
  • Proven expertise in Blown Film or Flexible Packaging production within a reputable company.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and process optimization abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of production safety standards and regulatory compliance.
