KEY RESPONSBILITIES

  • Preparing and Checking all the control system design deliverables documents like Instruments location plan, Instrument index, Instrument cable schedule, Wiring & Loop diagrams, etc.
  • Supervise the execution of Engineering, Procurement, Integration and commissioning for activities related to all ICSS & Instrumentation matters.
  • Follow-up all activities related to Instrumentation to ensure compliance with Company specifications and with the requirements of the project and contract documentation.
  • Regular review of Field Instrumentation: P&ID Review, Gauges, Transmitters, Fire and Gas Detectors, Sounders and Beacons, Metering Skid, Control Valves, Database / Index preparation, MR Preparation.
  • Process Datasheet follow up for Instruments, Giving inputs to Mechanical package MR.
  • Discussing and interacting with all other disciplines engineering team like piping, and structural for system related issues, design related Problems with team members.
  • Instrument Modeling, JB Modelling, Instrument Index, P&ID, Hookup Diagrams, Instrument schedule, Instrument location plan drawings, Block Interlock Diagram, Cable schedule and Interconnection wiring Detail Diagrams.
  • Supervise Design documents as Instrument Location Layout, JB Location Layout, F&G location Layout, Cable tray layout, MTO preparation
  • Review of Isometric drawings and provide inputs for instrumentation requirement.
  • Overseeing Site Construction activity like Cable duct, Cable tray, cable laying, field Instrument F&G Junction boxes, local Panel Installation and walkdown & clearing punch points, Site completion report preparation, Reconciliation, Coordinating with all.
  • Coordinating with other disciplines during all stages of construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up activities and successfully execution of the project.
  • Support and enforce the HSE Project objectives and directives.
  • Make safety suggestions, report any anomalies, unsafe acts or conditions observed.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Proven execution of Engineering, Procurement, Integration and commissioning for activities related to all ICSS & Instrumentation matters.
  • Knowledge of P&ID Review, Gauges, Transmitters, Fire and Gas Detectors, Sounders and Beacons, Metering Skid, Control Valves, Database / Index preparation, MR Preparation, Datasheet Preparation, Self-Check, TA approval, Inspection.
  • Control Systems Design and Analysis.
  • Experience in PLC Programming and Troubleshooting
  • P&ID Interpretation and Implementation
  • Calibration and Maintenance of Instruments
