The Opportunity

Roche Diagnostics, Nigeria, is seeking a passionate and dedicated intern to join Roche diagnostics medical and marketing departments. The role bridges scientific expertise with strategic marketing initiatives. This intern will play a pivotal role in the coordination, planning, implementation, and monitoring of medico-marketing activities and programs. The role involves coordination between key opinion leaders, internal stakeholders, clinical teams and partners to drive execution of meaningful medico-marketing projects and high-quality stakeholder engagement and management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to make an impact in the diagnostics landscape in West Africa.

Key Challenges

Medical Coordination & Marketing Support

• Administrative support for medico-marketing events and campaigns to drive customer satisfaction for the near patient care products and Roche diagnostics.
• Support with the coordination of medico-marketing strategies and activities in alignment with company objectives.
• Support with the coordination of medical education programs, workshops, and clinical meetings or CME
• Support with the coordination of training for sales and marketing teams on product knowledge and scientific updates.
• Keep records of all RDNG GDSE; documents, contracts, letters, agreements, etc in both soft and hard copies (where necessary) for both marketing & medical.
• Support with ensuring that medical & marketing departments are audit ready from time to time; by working closely with the Legal and Compliance team to ensure that our records are up to date.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer consent and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Carries our data analysis for the NPC customer area
• Track medical and marketing KPIs and prepare regular reports on events/campaign performance.

Who You Are as an Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or a related field.
• Experience in IVD or point of care diagnostics industry will be beneficial
• Strong understanding of medical and marketing compliance frameworks.
• Competence in project management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
