Directly Reports: Advisor Community Relations.

JOB SUMMARY:

Events coordination, Execution and monitoring of FTOs, managing outreach programs, resolving conflicts, and stakeholder engagements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support contractor entry to work sites.
  • Documents all FTOs and Community Disruption database
  • Prepare the first draft of CRD monthly reports
  • Provide support for the implementation of CR activities such as land rentals verification processes, town hall engagements among others and process CRD vendors 'invoices for payment
  • Community Interface for the Year End Activities
  • Stakeholder engagements

QUALIFICATION:

Key skill and qualification for this role:

  • Excellent people management and relationship building skills
  • Ability to empathize with others.
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in public relations, community development, or social work.
  • Ability to manage projects and coordinate events.
  • Knowledge of local policies and community dynamics.

Qualification:

  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Communication, Journalism, administration, social sciences, law or other bachelor from a recognized university (or equivalent higher institution).
  • A post-graduate degree or certification is an added advantage.
  • Five (5) years' experience in community relations, stakeholder management or similar roles in the oil and gas industry.
