JOB SUMMARY:

The Finance Officer will shadow the Finance department staff members, assisting with day-to-day

financial operations and financial reporting process, as well as tracking and analyzing financial

information.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

● Review invoices for appropriate documentation before payment.

● Maintaining accounts payable and receivables, ensuring timely payment of invoices and

reconciliations.

● Collaborating with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.

● Service management for internal and external stakeholders.

● Provide feedback on all customers' billing-related concerns and vendor's payment issues within

the stipulated time.

● Ensure accuracy in inputting and retrieving data when needed or as instructed.

● Ensure that all accounts payables and receivables entries are kept up to date.

● Preparing schedules for Tax and Pension remittances.

● Preparing revenue schedules for month-end reporting.

● Bank and petty cash reconciliation.

● Recording of transactions in the accounting software.

● Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

● Intercompany reconciliations.

● Recording shared costs from other entities.

● Maintaining Fixed Asset register.

● Posting of Accruals, Prepayment, and provisions.
