Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Risk Management and Compliance Associate located in Lagos, with the flexibility of partial remote work. The role involves identifying and assessing potential risks to the company, monitoring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and ensuring all financial operations align with legal and organizational standards. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, implementing risk management strategies, creating compliance reports, and communicating findings to stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills to identify, assess, and prioritize risks
  • Excellent Communication abilities to convey compliance requirements and risk-related issues
  • Knowledge of Finance and Financial Services, with experience in understanding financial systems and operations
  • Expertise in Risk Management practices to develop and implement risk-reduction strategies
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and governance frameworks in financial services
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Professional certifications in risk management or compliance (e.g., CRMA, CIRM) are an advantage
  • Attention to detail and the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations
