Job Summary

We are looking to hire a courteous and well-organized Front Desk Officer to serve as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a friendly personality, and prior experience in a school or corporate environment.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and attend to parents, visitors, and pupils in a polite and professional manner.
  • Manage the school's front office operations, including phone calls, inquiries, and correspondence.
  • Maintain visitor logs and ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Assist in general administrative duties and record keeping.
  • Provide accurate information about the school's programs and activities when required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of HND / Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years' experience as a Front Desk Officer, Receptionist, or Customer Service Representative (preferably in a school environment).
  • Must have a professional appearance and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Outlook)
  • Friendly, calm, and confident personality
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
