Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hotel Cook based in Lagos. The Hotel Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals according to the hotel's standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, following food safety guidelines, crafting creative menus, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production. The role demands attention to detail, time management, and dedication to culinary excellence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and recipe execution
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen cleanliness
- Effective teamwork and communication skills for working with kitchen staff
- Ability to plan and develop menus creatively to enhance guest experiences
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle a fast-paced work environment
- Formal culinary training or degree in a related field is preferred
- Previous experience as a cook or chef in hospitality or restaurant settings is a plus
- Must be living around ogba,ikeja,berger,Akute axis.
