Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior HR Specialist to take ownership of our core HR functions. This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 mandatory visits to our physical office per week to ensure policy compliance and maintain a positive work environment.
Reporting To: On-site Manager and assigned executives.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Global Multilingual Recruitment (Primary Focus)
Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, with a strong emphasis on sourcing, screening, and hiring multilingual staff for customer service roles.
- Prioritize the acquisition of highly fluent German-speaking candidates, while also actively recruiting proficient French-speaking, Italian-speaking, and Spanish-speaking candidates.
Utilize various sourcing channels (job boards, social media, professional networks) to build a robust pipeline of international-language talent.
Documentation and Compliance (The Musts)
Maintain, organize, and ensure the absolute accuracy and availability of all employee documentation in a shared, secure file system. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Contracts and Offer Letters
- HMO Forms
- PEN and TIN registrations
- A MUST: Proactively ensure full compliance with all local labor laws and regulations.
Take the lead in developing, reviewing, and updating HR policies and the employee handbook to reflect current best practices and legal requirements.
Onboarding, Offboarding, and Discipline
Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including the full onboarding process (induction, systems access, etc.) and comprehensive offboarding/exit procedures (final pay calculation, equipment retrieval, etc.).
Manage all disciplinary matters, implementing company policies fairly and consistently.
Compensation and Payroll Support
Generate a detailed and accurately calculated monthly salary sheet by the last week of every month, utilizing provided attendance data.
On-Site Policy Monitoring and Conduct
Conduct 2-3 weekly visits to the physical office location.
- Actively remind staff of company policies to promote good conduct and professionalism.
- Be the primary point person for monitoring and addressing any misconduct or negative behavior on-site, ensuring a productive and respectful environment.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Senior Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven, hands-on HR experience in a similar capacity is mandatory. (Only applications with verifiable experience will be considered.)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Professional HR certification is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with HRIS/Payroll software, standard HR documentation practices, and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace/Microsoft Teams).
- Compliance Knowledge: Deep, working knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations is a must.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially for managing policy enforcement and disciplinary actions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: ₦150,000 (One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) monthly, inclusive of all statutory deductions.
- On-Site Meal: Employees receive one complimentary meal when working from the physical office location.
- Performance-Based Growth: Future compensation reviews, including raises and bonuses, will be subject to proven performance and achievement of departmental goals.
- Environment: Exposure to global standards and international client engagement.
