We are seeking a seasoned educational leader to drive academic excellence and inspire staff and students in a dynamic school environment.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement a vision for the school, driving achievement and inspiring staff and students.
**Strategic Leadership**
* Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement a school vision, driving achievement and inspiring staff and students
* Lead by example in raising educational standards and fostering a culture of excellence
* Ensure alignment with best practices to maximize student potential
**Teaching and Learning**
* Oversee curriculum development to ensure a balanced and high-quality educational experience
* Monitor teaching practices and set goals to foster an engaging and organized learning environment
* Promote continuous improvement among staff
**Team and Stakeholder Collaboration**
* Build strong relationships with staff, students, and parents to promote a culture of trust and motivation
* Lead professional development initiatives to encourage continuous improvement among staff
* Foster partnerships with external agencies and the local community to enhance learning experiences
**Organizational and Resource Management**
* Ensure efficient use of resources, including budgeting and performance management
* Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment, embracing change and improvement
* Oversee staff recruitment and performance appraisals
**Accountability and Reporting**
* Ensure adherence to legal and contractual obligations, including school policies and safeguarding
* Lead self-evaluation and use data-driven insights to improve student outcomes
* Communicate school performance transparently to all stakeholders
**Requirements**
* Higher education degree, preferably in Education or related field
* Minimum of 20 years of teaching experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role
* Proven track record of raising academic standards and leading school improvement initiatives
* Strong strategic leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students
* In-depth knowledge of curriculum development and best practices in teaching and learning
* Experience in monitoring and evaluating teaching quality, setting performance targets, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with staff, parents, and external stakeholders
* Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills to address challenges effectively
* Experience in financial planning, resource allocation, and performance management
* Ability to manage staff recruitment, development, and appraisals to promote school growth and success
* Experience in engaging parents and caregivers to promote student development and well-being
