JOB SUMMARY

RequirementsA Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or any related field10 -15 years' experience in marketing, advertising, and lead generationProven record of success in business development roles within the Oil and Gas industryExceptional understanding of brand development and marketing and advertisingStrong networking abilities and existing relationships within the Oil and Gas communityWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office suiteExcellent analytical and quantitative skills, with very strong understanding of web analytics, and marketing analyticsProven, hands-on experience deploying, managing, and optimising ad campaignsA strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM, lead scoring, segmentation, revenue attribution and ROICreativity and commercial awarenessExcellent written, verbal, and visual communication skillsStrategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to meet client needsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide leadership and guidance to the Business Development division and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementDevelop, propose, and execute strategies for the branding, marketing, and advertising of the company's servicesManage both digital and non-digital marketing sections of the company's businessManage the company's social media channels and drive engagement levels on said mediaDevelop innovative marketing campaigns for publication on digital platforms (social media, website etc.) with an estimated budget for implementationUse Search Engine Optimisation to identify and utilise successful digital marketing methodsEvaluate the company's target clients to identify the social media channels that would provide the best opportunities for customer engagementMonitor data analytics to keep management aware of the company's progress in improving digital marketingConduct extensive market research to identify trends and effective marketing strategiesPrepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the Business Development divisionEnsure the consistency and strength of the company's brand message across all marketing channels and efforts.Identify and pursue new business sector opportunities within the oil and gas industry by sourcing potential leads, relevant Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and tenders.Lead the negotiation and closing of complex sales deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial targets.Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in marketing and advertising to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to drive customer satisfaction and retention.Analyse market data, sales performance metrics, and customer feedback to identify improvement areas and optimise business development strategies.
