JOB SUMMARY

Requirements 2 - 3 years of experience in a facility management role, preferably within a retail setting. First Degree or equivalent (HND) Proven track record of developing and implementing successful preventive maintenance plans. Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and safety regulations Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and manage time effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite A valid driver's license (may be required)

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Facility Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of our supermarket facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment for both customers and employees.Key Duties Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance plan for all building systems and equipment, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. Oversee the daily maintenance and repair of the facility, coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and health regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions. Manage the supermarket's budget for maintenance and repairs, ensuring efficient use of resources. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective service. Monitor utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives. Oversee janitorial staff and ensure the cleanliness of the entire supermarket. Respond promptly to facility emergencies and incidents, taking necessary actions to minimize disruption. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and service calls. Assist with the implementation of new store layouts and equipment installations.
