JOB SUMMARY
Preferred Skills / Knowledge Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position. Strong knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, etc.). Experience with Cisco switches and network equipment. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues. RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, routers, switches, internet, and ensure users get maximum benefits from them. Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including Cisco switches. Maximizing network performance through ongoing network monitoring and troubleshooting. Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks. Investigating faults in the network and updating network equipment. Reporting network status to Head of IT.
