Senior Business Development Executive

Job Summary:
- Currently, we are in search of an innovative and forward-thinking Senior Business Development Executivewho can steer our microfinance bank towards great achievements.
- As the Senior Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, leadership, and management of the microfinance bank.
- You will drive growth and expansion, ensure operational efficiency, maintain regulatory compliance, and lead a diverse team to achieve the bank's mission and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with the bank's vision, mission, and values.
- Identify growth opportunities and expansion strategies to increase the bank's market presence and impact.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee financial performance, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
- Implement effective risk management strategies and maintain a strong credit quality portfolio.
- Monitor key financial indicators and take proactive measures to address any deviations.
- Operational Excellence:
- Streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and service delivery.
- Maintain a robust internal control framework and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, leading and inspiring a diverse team of professionals.
- Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to ensure the team's continuous growth.
- Customer Engagement:
- Enhance customer relationships and ensure the bank's products and services are aligned with customer needs.
- Drive customer retention and satisfaction by promoting excellent service quality.
- Market Expansion:
- Identify potential markets and segments for expansion, conducting market research and feasibility studies.
- Develop and execute market entry strategies to successfully launch new branches or units.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive experience in the microfinance or financial services industry, with a minimum of 3years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of microfinance operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving growth in a financial institution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and navigate a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology and digital tools for business enhancement.
