JOB SUMMARY
BSc or HND in computer science, Information Technology, or any relevant disciplineMinimum of 4 years of proven experienceA strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network hardware (routers, switches) is necessary.Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software.Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security protocols to protect against cyberattacks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintaining the IT environment.Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software [including] peripherals.Monitoring network performance and security to identify and troubleshoot any problems.Performing regular backups of data and ensuring data recovery procedures are in place.Upgrading existing systems and implementing new technologies as needed.Responding to user inquiries and requests regarding technical issues.Providing technical support to employees, such as troubleshooting software and hardware problems.Creating user accounts and managing access rights.Implementing and maintaining security protocols to safeguard the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats.Monitoring system activity for suspicious behavior.
