We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Officer to oversee daily operations and maintenance of our facilities.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our buildings and services meet the needs of employees, clients, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and oversee all building maintenance and repair activities.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure buildings and equipment comply with safety standards.
  • Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and cost control.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality services.
  • Oversee the work of external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality control.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure continuous service delivery.
  • Coordinate and plan the layout of office space and any required remodeling or renovations.
  • Implement and promote sustainable practices to reduce energy consumption and waste.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to continuously improve facility operations.
  • Supervise and support the facility team, including Office Assistants and Janitors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or OND in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Facility Officer or in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Budgeting and financial management experience.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in multitasking and setting priorities.
